From the Principal’s Desk
Dear Parents and Students,

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sri Ganganagar Cantt. is continuously striving for the holistic development of its students through a harmonious blend of education, discipline, values, and excellence. The Vidyalaya was established in 1980 in a temporary building and was shifted to its permanent campus in 1999. Today, the school provides students with a modern educational environment and essential facilities across its well-developed and spacious campus spread over nearly 10 acres.

Our school is not merely a centre for imparting knowledge but also a powerful platform for developing essential life values such as self-confidence, leadership, creativity, discipline, cooperation, sensitivity, and responsibility. Our aim is to recognize the potential of every child and provide opportunities for them to progress according to their interests and talents.

Academic Excellence – Our Priority
The school places special emphasis on conceptual and activity-based learning, experiential learning, effective use of ICT and digital resources, continuous assessment, revision, and individualized academic support. Keeping in view the learning needs of students, teachers are effectively implementing TLP, remedial support, enrichment activities, and competency-based learning.

As a PM SHRI Vidyalaya, we are committed to promoting modern, skill-based, and learner-centric education in accordance with the spirit of NEP 2020.

Striving for Holistic Development
Along with academics, sports, yoga and Fit India activities, Scouts and Guides, art and culture, club activities, science, and creative activities play an important role in the overall personality development of students. Through these activities, students develop team spirit, leadership, punctuality, discipline, cooperation, and essential life skills.

The school is also fostering a sense of environmental and social responsibility among students through initiatives such as cleanliness drives, maintaining a green and eco-friendly campus, tree plantation, and activities under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Our endeavour is to ensure that every student of the Vidyalaya grows not only into a knowledgeable individual but also into a value-oriented, self-reliant, sensitive, disciplined, and responsible citizen.
